The boys argue over whether what they're doing is worth it and if they should trust Billy Butcher every goddamn episode like holy fuck. It would be a lot more entertaining in they had some rock solid resolve to take down Vought so we can get on with the plot

First two seasons are worth watching though.

Haven't had a chance to buy the remake yet, and I'm in no hurry due to alterations in the OST. I feel kind of uneasy about it, to be perfectly honest. OFF is one of my most favorite games ever, and I'm so afraid of the remake doing something to ruin it, as silly as it sounds.

Makes me sad that there's only fanart of Henry and James hanging out platonically, either that or the shipping art is all just buried online and i still haven't found it, guess i'll have to make my own.

I played the sequel before the first game, so I'm of the unpopular opinion that the sequel was more fun as far as gameplay is concerned, but the plot was retarded.

I've been playing Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within, a point and click adventure game from the 90s, and I'm absolutely shocked at how much fujo bait is present. I'm pretty sure one of the side characters is into Knight, and they've outright acknowledged that Ludwig II of Bavaria was into men. The side character is constantly touching Knight and giving him longing stares: it's great. It's also an all around fun and intriguing mystery, that's shockingly well acted for a live action video game from the 90s.

Been watching House of the Dragon S3, somewhat begrudgingly due to how god awful S2 was. It's been a better experience (not difficult to accomplish) than expected but I can firmly say it was worth it for Gwayne Hightower. Fine piece of ass. He can get it. He NEEDS to be fucked. But it's ASOIAF so he will either die horribly next season for the crime of being A Good Guy, or marry a charisma-black-hole woman.

Good material for doomed one-sided love for a character I don't at all care for (but it's there), plus dead dove content with his creepy uncle and/or innocent enamored young nephew. Hits all the right keys for me. Unexpected upside to what is otherwise a mid at best show. Thanks for reading my blog.

I've got almost zero knowledge of 40k, but I'm managing to get through it fairly well. I'm having a pretty great time of it so far. The Spy vs. Spy stuff is great. I'm a very sentimental person, so I actually find myself empathizing with Trayzen quite a lot. It takes a deft hand to make a robot mummy simultaneously alien and heartfelt.

Any recs for very excellent BL vampire books? Obviously there's Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, but is there anything else out there that's worth reading?

I finished reading Fulgrim a couple weeks ago and it definitely one of the more fujo-baity of the Horus Heresy novels so far with Fulgrim and Ferrus Mannus' relationship with them starting out as the best of friends and it all falling apart once Fulgrim tries to convince Ferrus to turn traitor like him. I have a feeling it would have led to some great moments down the line if Fulgrim didn't chop off his head in battle, although it does lead to this really great moment where Fulgrim relinquishes his soul to the daemon possessing his sword in order to experience oblivion rather than the guilt of murdering his favorite brother, only to end up trapped in a painting and fully aware of everything going on. I know there's the whole clone thing too but I want to read that story first before making any judgements as I dont want it to end up being another Guilliman/Yvraine situation.
Everything with the dropsite massacre was horrific, especially with how far the Emperor's Children had been corrupted, like I knew they were all sex, drugs, rock n roll and excess but I was definitely not expecting the comic in the spoilered image being played completely straight or one of them kissing another space marine's severed head before discarding it. Plus the general scope of the betrayal is just kind of a downer.

I marathoned through The Secret History and I'm still not sure how to feel about it. It's lingered in my head, so I suppose it made an impression. It was moody and enjoyable, and I liked how pretentious all of the characters were. It was charming.

I was planning on reading Exquisite Corpse next, but I remembered that Brite is an obnoxious Gayiden and I've got a hard line on reading stuff by annoying FTMS. I'm deciding between Strangers on a Train and Brideshead.

I watched My Beautiful Laundrette (1985) and it was pretty good. It was definitely more like a slice-of-life film and admittedly I looked at spoilers just to make sure it wasn't a sad ending. I sorta regret that and I need to stop looking at spoilers, but I also didn't want to watch a tragic gay movie and the vibes of the first half of the film scared me into thinking it might end badly kek. Omar and Johnny are pretty hot together and their chemistry is palpable from the get-go. Omar's a cutie-pie despite acting reckless/sorta scummy the entire film and I like that Johnny (who is, yes, an early Daniel Day-Lewis) is clearly head-over-heels for him in spite of the shit Omar gets them into. I recommend the movie if you're into more chill, slice-of-life films with somewhat subtle commentary on being gay during the '80s and in the Thatcher era. also, I really like what they do with Tania, Omar's cousin and potential fiancée…

The Cable Guy is male yandere kino with a great 90's soundtrack
