>>872That's right. Not that I am familiar with the show or anything, but the design just scratched an itch.

>>871 statement, I too love this trait on an uke, especially if he's older than the seme and said seme teases him about it despite clearly enjoying that stubble, haha.
Speaking of moe, this
>>873 character evolution could constitute a gap moe by itself. Two visual I like tropes in one character, hori shitto-

What do you fujos do when you have trouble focusing on and finishing art? What is everybody's cheat code here? I don't mean an art block or lack of interest, but pics you want to draw and actually finish but you're too ADHD so it takes ages or you're afraid of fucking up, needing too long etc.
I noticed that aside from the good old rationing of a WIP into smaller tasks you're aiming to get done per day it helps when I am showing the progress to somebody else, maybe to have proof that I progressed at all. A frustrating part of arting is that you're spending hours on a pic that barely seems to change. But for someone that doesn't observe your daily work the progress will be obvious, so it helps feeling like I got something done.
I've only one online friend that cares about fanart but it still helps.
>>866This art style is cute and pretty. I like this a lot.
>>869I especially love Simon here lel. He's super pretty well drawn and the pose is good. Plus, that is unrelated, but I really like Simon and his design.

>>882This was not my intention, but I've noticed since I've been forcing myself to read one chapter of my physical manga a day, I also have a much easier time sitting down and grinding away at my big art projects.
I have not read consistently in a very long time, also because a lack of focus, but I find using ear plugs help me. They're like a reminder of what task I should be doing, and I also find that I've just always been hyper sensitive to noise as a source of distraction

>>882I've had a decent influx of ideas lately so I decide to at the very least do some thumbs for each planned illustration. I never did this before, but my mind's eye gets fuzzy these days and it can handle remembering All That.
When I actually get into the painting process, I feel that taking pictures after each session helps keep track of the evolution. I also sometimes juggle 2 pieces at once, but I wouldn't reccommend unless you have some level of masochism.
For digital drawing I give myself more leeway. I don't mind working on several projects at a time, because the workspace just has a different effect than when you work with tradi media.
>>887Damn nonna, I am the opposite. I optimise and minimise as hell because I just know I will get lost EVEN if I name them specifically, lol. Case & point : all flat colors are on the same layer, then comes the shading layer, then the highlights layer, and so on.

>>888>taking pictures after each session helps keep track of the evolutionHoly shit this is a nice tip. Didn't think of that. I casually did it when I make a small screenshot of WIPs with the snipping tool since I sometimes post it into my private discord (it's a discord "group" only I am in) but I didn't think of doing it after every session. I will try this.

>>887kek im the complete opposite where at max I have 2 files. 1 for sketch, 2nd for lineart > merge, then additional 2nd layer for b/w flats. I rarely render and just having an additional layer for reference throws me off so im basically stuck with having a minimal amount of layers if I ever want to get something done.

>>890I should do this more often. Uncolored or monochrome flat colored art is so much fun to draw IMO. My autism always tells me to do more, and sometimes it's cool to post some properly rendered shit. But it's better when the exception to the rule. As big enjoyer of fanart myself I rather have artists upload 20 line art pics a month than two super detailed perfectly colored ones.
Your art is really good by the way, I like the style. The line art looks very natural, I assume you draw a lot and don't have to redraw much. It looks like the work of someone with experience that has a good grasp of the characters and finishes pretty pics rather quickly.

>>891Tysm nona! Your words truly means a lot ♥
In turn Im in awe of mecha artists and the patience and ability to draw out the insane amount of details. if you happen to be a transformers fujo I look forward to seeing more of your work, its been something ive been looking to get into because the fujo creativity required into working around complex mechanical parts for romance ##and smut## are inspiring. I love the way you cross hatch metalic pieces and the concise shapes you draft out from the rough sketch!

>>882Hard to say honestly im in the same boat of "hard to pick up the pen when i know i want to draw".
I send wips to my friends too for progress and I like to think "i should continue this" and just end up doing it.
Doing 20 min quick study, be it figure or color, or something that inspires me slightly (aninme screenshot redraw whatnot) helps me sometimes

>>890>>891>>894>>920Absolutely love these, nonnas! The attention to detail amazes me, even though it's sketches. That's my issue, the details and all, especially digitally. I tend to simplify what I draw.

Has anyone here ever published a physical comic? Or printed one, or whatever? I have this very ambitious idea to make one, and want to know if there are any good resources for specifically BL comics/original doujinshi.
