How do you guys come up with designs for your characters? I find it very easy to come up with female character designs, but male ones are super hard for me.

Personally I take most inspiration from historical photos, male fashion peaked in the 20s so while I mostly engsge with fan content if I have to make an OC things like button ups and waistcoats are my inspo for them

i ususally just screenshot everything that could help me draw - from poses to just random characters that i saw and i think look cool so i just have a folder full of potential refrences

a lot of my characters have their legs exposed, im not sure why i do that tho

i really enjoy designing their outfits but i hate coloring or rendering anything so i usually just end up not doing it kek
