>>4149Thank you! I'm happy to see that others agree. Ciel is such a great character, I hate how he's been misrepresented.
Pretty much the only male fans of kuro I've seen have come from 4chan and they pretty much see Ciel as their boywife, while Sebastian is seen as their competition, kek. I guess I can't be surprised. Femboys are popular now and for some reason all shotas have been absorbed into that group.

>>4153Yes, kuro has been with CloverWorks since the Public School Arc. I'm really curious to see how tomorrow turns out too. I hope they don't disappoint.

>>4157someone on twitter said that it represents him choosing sebastian over everyone else. yana tweeted that ciel's choice represents him choosing revenge over everything else. antis immediately jumped on sebaciels calling them delusional and the usual stuff, lmfao
btw anyone else likes vincent x diederich?
No.4159
>>4158the discourse is whack. much like a chip with salsa, sebastian is the best vehicle for revenge. Even just for this reason, ciel still needs him and will choose him again and again (anne made some cute art, always a banger)
I love them ahh. You just know that vincent and diedrich fucked around in school at some point. that butler nursing was an adorable chapter. vincent is such a freak
No.4160
>>4159i swear antis are always up to start the dumbest discourse imaginable, and it all falls apart even more miserably when you remember that yana drew shotacon of characters that look exactly like sebastian and ciel. if i was an anti i wouldnt even have started the series. now that we have them back together 24/7 in a luxury hotel i can just picture antis with a soyjak face at every new chapter we'll get
vincent is indeed a freak omg and they're in my ships that canonically at least frotted back in school list. it's interesting because they remind me of sebaciel in a lot of ways, you can tell that yana likes this dynamic
cute pic nona ♥
No.4161
Why isn't Sebaciel canon? Yana is a fujo, her audience are all fujos, so what's stopping her? I'm not in the fandom, just genuinely curious
No.4162
>>4160it was always strange to me that there are so many new fans who are against the shipping aspect of the series. sure, kuro isn't as in your face as something like loveless but it's obvious what kind of series this is. they are truly delusional.
kek yana is so committed to her aesthetic. she delivers the same gift in a different package each time

>>4161I think it's because Kuroshitsuji gets published in a shounen magazine, their editors probably won't allow it. Maybe it's time for her to upgrade to a seinen magazine or something the way Araki did with Jojo.
No.4164

>>4163 said it's likely because of the magazine kuro is published on. i think this has to do with yana's own taste too though, i have a feeling that even if she could canonize sebaciel she would not. she's said before she thinks writing romance is exhausting and she feels more comfortable with action-centered stories.
i like it better this way too tbh. the tension, subtext and subtle eroticism of their relationship is what draws me to the ship and it'd be lost if they became canon.
i've always been more of a fanon shipper fujo than a BL reader one tho
No.4171
>>4163>>4162Kuroshitsuji is the only bl-hinting manga I would read continuously. Straight canon bl is boring. With kuroshitsuji you have other plot aspects and it is the action and other character interactions that makes it whole. That's why it's so popular because it's a complete story and it doesn't only focus on the main pair but develops the other characters as well.

It's insane how much more interesting the manga became once Sebastian and Ciel came back.

>>4249I never read the manga so my first thought was that it's a hilariously complicated ruse to create a whole amish fantasy village to trick a child into making a WMD, not to mention the hilarity of werewolves and witch magic being fake but demons and reapers aren't.
No.4251
>>4250Storywise it's still the same as the manga. I was talking about some changes in the art style/ how cloverworks presented the scenes. I just feel like the manga has more of an impact. Sully's whole world crumbled around her, I just didn't feel the anime reflected enough of that mood.
No.4282
>>4281>if you prefer me "beastly" I'll act the part for you.Oh my god Sebastian is so embarrassing! An ancient demon being so pussywhipped by a little boy, to the point where he starts enjoying behaving like a human servant and being demonic and "beastly" becomes an act he has to put on for him. That is so, so goddamn pathetic I love it!
Also, I'm so ready for
Ciel in a dress (again) next episode!

>>4317That episode was incredible! So many of the scenes were just beautiful. I especially loved this frame of Sebastian, it was always my favorite manga scene of him. Cloverworks did a great job with this one.
I hope we also get a filler episode at the end of this arc, like how they ended Public School. Would love to see the Diedie cooking segment extra. It was hilarious, I really lost it at Vi realizing that one of his sons is as much of a psychopath as he is. Crazy really runs in the family kek.

>Ciel is once again in a dress while Sebastian carries him around like a princessSebaciel is so back baby! Sebastian is being so tender with Ciel eeeeeeeee I loved it!! And the noises Ciel makes oof
>>4338Ooh I totally forgot about the filler episode. The public school arc only had 11 episodes though, so if the green witch arc follows that pattern I doubt we'll get to see the cooking segment. I really hope that's not the case because that's one of my favourite bonus chapters. Especially the bit where
Diedrich implies Vincent is incapable of loving his wife, and instead of denying it Vincent just smirks. God what a piece of shit! I really hope we get to see him again!
No.4360
Seeing Tanaka being so strong and competent reminded me how I suspect him of knowing too much and being partially responsible for the murders and fire at the Phantomhive mansion. I also recently saw someone saying Black Butler is basically Hellsing for girls and it's accurate it makes me suspect Tanaka even more. I bet the flashback where he's trying to prevent the twins from going in a room when everyone is attacked is staged and he was stabbed in the back in a way to make him injured but not dead for whatever reason. I also believe queen Victoria is very interested in the bizarre dolls either because she could bring back her husband from the dead like her goal in the first season, she could use them as weapons to expand her empire or both at the same time. I doubt Ciel will live for very long given everything we've seen so far so maybe we'll never see it anyway but it could even have an impact on how WW1 could happen since it's known as a pointless war that politicians used as an opportunity to develop and test more weapons. This week's episode just reminded me of that.
No.4378
>>4360I also think Tanaka is definitely up to something or at least knows much more than he lets on. Otherwise he wouldn't have defected to R!Ciel and Undertaker's side so quickly. Sometimes it seems like he knows about the supernatural powers characters like Sebastian and Undertaker have, but I might have imagined that lol.
I noticed something interesting in this weeks episode, with Sascha and Ludger's conversation about Ciel. In the manga it sounded like they were implying that Ciel has supernatural blood in his veins and that's why he stands out to them. But in the anime they were more interested in the fact that he's affiliated with the queen. Do all grim reapers have beef with the queen or what?
I also saw a theory that the queen's butler, John, is also a grim reaper which is why he was able to travel to Germany in such a short period of time to contact Sebastian. It could be true, I mean we've never seen what his eyes look like. He has to be an important character somehow, or else they wouldn't get Hiroshi Kamiya to voice him.
No.4379
>>4338Cloverworks really knows their audience. The foot scene…omg
I think we should be getting 13 episodes this arc. I feel like there's no way they can finish the story up next ep.
>>4360Same here I've always been suspicious of Tanaka having some cryptic origin. It's always the one you least expect, plus we know next on nothing about his back story. Also, just like,
>>4378 I'm suspicious of the Queen's butler's too. Just remembering back to the season one cannon, where Ash/Angela was the Queen's butler turned out to be an angel. It's a bit of a spoiler if true, but so many story elements have had a soft reveal in season one lol.
No.4380
>>4378>But in the anime they were more interested in the fact that he's affiliated with the queen. Do all grim reapers have beef with the queen or what?Obviously with Undertaker it's very personal and has something to do with Vincent and maybe Claudia. I'd be surprised if he weren't Claudia's husband but we'll see later. I assume the German grim reapers are interested in Ciel and queen Victoria's relationship because of what I said about the bizarre dolls and how they could potentially be used as war weapons. I assume Victoria will try to start shit with other European countries soon, make WW1 happen way earlier than irl and it would result in enough deaths that grim reapers would be overworked. Grim reapers have a list of dead people in advance so I bet the younger one saw a massive list for very soon.
>>4379I agree that Victoria's butlers have enough things in common with Ash to look very suspicious. I read FMA as a teenager and watched the first anime way before FMAB was announced, in one of the manga's afterwords/bonus Hiromu Arakawa explained that she talked about how the manga was supposed to end and all the plot twists to the anime studio to prepare the first series so they could see how they would change and adapt the manga's story for their own adaptation. I know Yana Toboso worked with the studio for at least the first two Black Butler seasons very closely and I'm sure that's why the first season feels more and more like a very short and simplified version of the manga instead of an old anime that diverged from the manga very early on. What made it very obvious for me at first was Undertaker being a grim reaper and pretending to be regular human in the manga like yeah, no shit sherlock but at the same time it could have stayed an anime exclusive thing all along if Yana Toboso wanted it that way.

>>4380>I assume Victoria will try to start shit with other European countries soon, make WW1 happen way earlier than irl and it would result in enough deaths that grim reapers would be overworked. You make a good point, I never really thought about why she seems to be on the Grim Reaper's radar. But you're right it must be foreshadowing an event that will cause a massive amount of death. I wondered about if she was going to have a connection to the bizarre dolls, thinking back to season 1, but I'm doubtful seeing as Undertaker is developing them and despises her. Though, maybe she'll steal it some way, like she's done with the selling gas.
